Art has been a journey with many stopping places. I paused at illustration and painted flowers and trees, I looked at the powerful hues as watercolors blend and flow into one another and then I found the rich butter consistency of oils spreading on a canvas and fell in love. Currently I enjoy painting both in the studio and outdoors where my senses are filled as the canvas is covered. I look forward to more adventures, challenges, and studies of painting and the study of other artists’ works.
